In this short video, Arkansas Judge Brown explains the courtroom in a way that's easy for children to understand. Kids will learn who the people in the courtroom are, what their roles are, and what to expect when they come to court. The goal is to help children feel more comfortable and prepared. Court can be serious, but everyone is there to help and children should know it’s okay to speak up for what they need. This resource was developed by the Arkansas Supreme Court Commission on Children, Youth, and Families with support from the Court Improvement Program (CIP).
